The Founding Story

Born from a Passion for Play

It's Play Tyme was founded in May 2013 by Lisa Lawrence— a visionary entertainer from Teaneck, New Jersey with one bold idea: what if corporate events didn't have to be boring?

What started as a single game show concept quickly grew into the NYC Metro's most sought-after entertainment company. Today, we're a family-owned and operated business serving NJ, NYC, and CT — with over 3,000 events and 15+ years of experience bringing joy to groups of every size.
